In a world preoccupied with speed and mass production, we have been working to slow things down. Inspired by a special edition of The Tale of the Sands, produced in 1980 – and limited to just fifty copies – we have teamed up with a print-making collective in Bristol. One hundred copies of six tales will be printed on special A3 paper – each one in its own clamshell box. Fifty copies of every story will be made available for sale, the proceeds going in entirety to the Books for Afghan Children Project. The remaining fifty copies of each story will be presented to leading supporters of The Idries Shah Foundation.
