ISF is extremely pleased to announce that a new, landmark license agreement has been signed with the Estate of Idries Shah. The license, which has been agreed for 20 years, secures the realisation of public benefit for the generous donations ISF has received and will allow the charity to fulfil its objectives.
ISF will continue to publish the complete works of Idries Shah in English, making them available to a worldwide readership in multiple formats, along with 16 titles in Spanish, 10 in Dari, 10 in Farsi and 11 in Turkish. The charity plans in the near future to publish six more illustrated children’s books to add to the six previously produced; and has also secured a license to publish 11 titles in Urdu.
The trustees look forward to continuing to work closely with Saira, Safia and Tahir Shah - who have been indispensable to the charity's success over the past nine years - to help fulfil the charity’s ongoing main goal: the wide dissemination of Idries Shah’s works.
