World Book Day is an annual celebration of books, authors and reading that happens around the world. It is celebrated on the first Thursday of March each year, and in 2023 will be celebrated on March 2. The day encourages young people to get involved in books, by reading, engaging in creative activities and by finding out more about the different genres of literature. World Book Day provides the perfect opportunity for young readers to become immersed in Idries Shah's valuable teaching-stories.
